The idea is to metaphorically return the club to the bombed out shell it was after WW2. Remeber that, pretty soon, Glazer WILL BE the club.
To ruin Glazer, we will have to ruin the club. The idea being that, to any outside investor, the club will be wholly unmanageable and non-financially viable. This means that he will not be able to sell his stake on.
Should he attempt to re-list, the shares will have an enormously low value, and we will be able to re-buy.
The risk is that he sell the ground and training facilities etc etc and the football club disappears completely. I don't see that we have the physical asset value to claw back Ј800 million, so I don't think that that's an option for him.
This is like the feller who was rock climbing and got his arm trapped. He either died, or he cut off his arm. We either let Glazer have his way or we hurt the thing we love, in the hope that we can get it back.
